The Matchbox Community CIC is a non-profit set up to connect artists with communities, telling stories through public art. Every project involves creative and thought provoking workshops from our that engage, involve, and guide local people through the process of creating beautiful public art.

We believe that meaningful engagement means working collaboratively and co-creatively at all stages of a creative project. Giving agency to those from hard to reach groups has a positive impact in their personal well-being and self-efficacy, as well as develop shared identities and group cohesion.
